The Experiment with the Beard Filter

The Experiment with the Beard Filter

Orhan had always wondered how he would appear with a beard. His habit of keeping his face clean-shaven was established during his adolescence, when his friends made fun of his haphazard attempts at facial hair.

However, as technology developed, he discovered a surprising chance to investigate his lifelong interest in the viral AI beard.

The Experiment with the Beard Filter:

Orhan discovered the app one lazy Saturday afternoon while perusing social media. It promised to display users’ facial hair types, ranging from a full Viking beard to a scruffy stubble.

The examples appeared uncannily realistic, and the reviews were excellent.

He eagerly took a selfie after downloading the app and waited for the AI to work its magic. The image changed in a matter of seconds.

The initial glance? A tidy shadow at five o’clock. Orhan cocked his head to study the digital mess.

He mumbled, “Not bad,” appreciating the rough, chiseled appearance it gave his jawline.

After that, he adopted the “Lumberjack Beard.” In a flannel shirt, he suddenly had the appearance of someone who could cut wood. It was bushy, thick, and strangely gratifying.

But when he discovered the “Wizard” option, the real fun started. A magnificent beard cascaded down to his chest, filling his face. With his specs on, he resembled a contemporary Gandalf.

Orhan nearly dropped his phone because he was laughing so hard. “All well, this will undoubtedly appear on my profile.”

“Call me Orhan the Wise,” he captioned the photo he posted to social media. It costs nothing to have your first beard consultation. In just a few minutes, the post went viral.

He received a barrage of messages from friends and relatives saying, “Bro, you NEED to grow this beard!”

Why didn’t you inform us that you were working as a magician on the side, Orhan?

“Petition to grow a genuine beard for Orhan.” Who’s in?

Even while Orhan enjoyed the comments, he was aware that growing a genuine beard would be more complicated than just applying a filter.

However, an idea was generated by the experiment. He made the decision to go to a barber to get his sparse beard styled in a manner like to the AI’s.

Orhan admired his new appearance when standing in front of his mirror months later.

Although it wasn’t as thick as the filter’s, the beard offered him a confidence he had never experienced before. Recalling how it all began with an app, he laughed.

“Thank AI for teaching me the way,” Orhan would now remark with a smile whenever someone made a comment about his beard.
